Tring to get a six pack?

I use to weigh around 370 pounds and that was two and a half years ago. I have been exercising my rear off these past 2 1/2 years and have gotten down to 190 pounds. I am 6” feet tall and big boned and was wondering what weight do I need to be at for this height?

And do I need to keep losing weight or keep building muscle instead of losing weight?

Also I am doing 150 sit ups and 150 crunches everyday, how much longer until I start seeing a six pack?

Everyone has a different body. And unlike girls’ male body has testosterone which helps you build up muscles faster, there are also men who can’t develop muscles as fast as the other men. I’m sure if you tried some other type of exercise like running and push-ups you should get your body in shape you want fast. Some other type of exercise can be 100 times more effective then sit-ups and crunches Other exercises can also support the wanted muscles and it’s important that you find the proper training. It also depends do you want your body to be resistant or just really strong and buffed. I’ve been training martial arts since I was 5. But my body (even though I’m strong like all the other students) doesn’t show as much of the muscle mass. Find the proper training course. The weight will go away and the muscles will build up with time. There ARE NO results over night.

The concept of targeted fat burning is a myth. Exercising your abs WILL cause them to strengthen and develop; but if you want DEFINITION, you need to burn fat. This is where cardio comes in… you want to exercise your WHOLE body for definition.

P.S. - Exersicing your abs daily is unecessary, and it can work against your overall progress. Your muscles need a day off to recover. They also only develop when you’re resting. There are also NUMEROUS abdominal exercises that you should try, to make your workouts more diverse, and to target different areas in your core.

you get there. just keep trying
