Does a piercing gun hurt more than the needle?

I wanted to get my nose pierced but im not sure which way I should do it some people say the needle is better but some say the gun is easier…NEED HELP

Answer #1

Do the needle :) I got mine peiced with the gun and it went all wrong. The guns suck! I had to let it heal then get it redone with needle. And now its better.

Answer #2

deffently get it done with the needle the gun is dangerous and can get stuck, the needle is a lot more safe and suprisingly more steral.. do NOT do it with a gun.. I have 5 piercing that have been done with a needle and all healed beautiful.

A gun can shatter the cartalidge in your nose.

My stepdads a doctor, and he’s seen collapsed nosess, and stuff.

I have mine, and a needle can be sterilized, and it’s quicker :)

Answer #4

the gun is the most ridiculouse excuse for a peice of peircing equiptment ever. and usallly the people who use them have to trainging in peircing at all, they practice on fruit. there amatures. DEFINANTLY go with the needle

Answer #5

I dont think either hurt at all…is you not very strong with that stuff go with the gun its faster. it you can live with a slow pinch feeling the needle works too…

Answer #6

When you get a piercing with a gun all it does is shove the earring thru the tissue pushing it into a different space than it was meant to occupy. Of course you are going to have thigns go wrong, like bumps and lumps. That tissue has to go somewhere.

When it is done with a needle, the needle is hollow and actually removes that section of tissue making the proper room for the piece of jewelry. And by needle I mean a professional one, not the one from your mom’s sewing kit. I wouldn’t have anything pierced on me, including my ears, with anything than the professional piercing needle.

Answer #7

DO NOT !!! perice it with a gun…SERIOUSLY…its unprofessional, youre not ment to and its mre likly to get stuck and infected (thats what happend to me , I had to take it out also I think the woman hit a nerve so be careful, cause that side of my nose feels nothing,it got severly infected the lump/scar is still there and its been a year) so dont use a gun…Use a needle and get it done by a professional…please

Answer #8

I had my ears pierced when I was 9 with a gun, it hurt and got infected, I had to take my earing out and the piercing healed as a scar. I’ve still got the lumpy scar now. not only that, they were pierced unevenly and at a wierd angle so the earing wudnt go in properly. this was at a chemists.

im 16 now and I had my ears pierced again yesterday, with a needle, it don’t hurt at all, just a little sting, and so far, they dont hurt, they are clean, a good angle, and I’ve been given very good advice to take care of them. so hopefully these will heal beautifully.
