The Hold By: Me

When I woke up this morning you were the first thing on my mind I think about you a lot that’s something I’ve come to find Although the thoughts aren’t always good and sometimes they make me cry I’m still glad I have them because they make me strive

When I went to sleep last night you were the last thing on my mind I dream about you often I’ve also come to find Sometimes in those dreams you still manage to make me cry But thanks to my experience I’ve learned how to hide These feelings that I have for you that make me act the way I do

I thank God for the will or else I might lose This game that I’ve been playing with my heart and with my soul I hope the day will come and release this gripping hold

I think it was good in the 1st stanza but then you said the same thing just in different words in the second and it didn’t have the same formation as the first one like the ABAC thing but it will be really good if you work on it a bit
