Why are some teens abusive in relationships?

Just saw a very sad clip from a movie where a teen punched his girlfriend.

Answer #1

Same reasons why some adults are in abusive relationships. It’s different for everyone.

Answer #2

Normally for control, dominance, power etc; MOST people who are abusive were abused when they were younger or went through a very tramatic experience but not always. Some people are just mean & angry.

Answer #3

mainly due to the fact that men are as-sholes and women are often crazy or stupid even worse both.

Answer #4

lack of maturity

Answer #5

Its Usually Because The Have Experienced That Or The Have So Much Anger That Has Been Building Up In Them That They Have To Let Out But Need Someone Weaker To Let It Out On Because They Know That The Won’t Be Able To Hit Back Or Take Control Of The Situation

Answer #6

what is Abuse? there is no real Limit to what can be considered abuse…. if you mean physical violence, that’s not really abuse, unless its repeated (logically speaking)….

emotional abuse is everywhere in Teen relationships, its mostly because the relationship itself is built on it, like the shy girl and the cool guy, she likes him he just “owns” her or whatever you teens like these days (twilight lol), while peer pressure is another form of abuse that leads to such relationships, a girl may date certain guys for status or whatever, she only does it because of her peers looking down on her etc.

fact is if the abused does not understand he/she is being abused then they cannot be saved…. it would take too long to explain the whole concept, maybe you can find an up to date article somewhere…
