Teacher Cursing a student

After the bell rang to let school out a student and the teacher were joking back and forth playing around and the student jump on the teachers back , remember they were both playing back and forth with one another, not know the teacher just had back surg. The student apoligized as the teacher starting curing the student while others watched. The student got ISS but the teacher was not punished. what are your views on school policys and what do you thing should have been done. thanks

Obviously the teacher reacted out of pain, and given the circumstance, was let off easy. That’s not to say it was a proper reaction, but I’m sure he was at least privately admonished for his behaviour.

Just because you don’t hear about it, doesn’t mean he got away with it.

teachers are normal people too. everyone makes mistakes. the student shouldnt have gone that far with a teacher– and since he did he was probably comfortable with the teacher. what would your mom or dad say if you jumped on one of their backs not knowing they had back problems? I know mine would let a few curses slip out.

Playing around you might jump on your friends back, not the teacher…respect/older in age factors - student made a bad decision.

sounds like the student was being very stupid, adults don’t do those things to each other. just some childlike behavior from a child
