how do I convince my parents to let me get a nose or lip peircing?

I just got my lip done like 2 months ago and im 15. I made a deal with my parents that if I got good grades for the entire year theyd let me for my 15th bday. worked for me.

Start with a small nose stud- it’s more “socially acceptable” these days. (At least more so than a lip piercing. When you’re out in public just point out (in a subtle way) people who are working and have nostril piercings. Then explain to them you can still get a job and whatnot while having one. Lots of people with jobs have them- and that’s most parent’s concern with piercings: social unacceptability.

Just say there are worse things I could be doing besides getting a piercing like doing drugs, having sex and smoking weed
