standing for 7 minutes?

a long time ago, I saw a commerical where it says when you stand for 7 minutes every day for 14 days, you would loose a dress size, is that true?

I highly doubt it, I stand for way more than 7 minutes everyday an I’m not gettin any smaller

not as far as I know. I know a LOT of people who stand for up to 8 hours each day and are overweight.

I seriously doubt that. I dont think standing still burns many calories unfortunately.

Honestly this has some truth to it. Standing burns more calories than sitting. It’s something you hear about with exercises that always recommend standing if it is possible because you force more muscles into action by standing than you do sitting. That being said moving for those 7 minutes will burn more calories than sitting or standing. What does that tell you to do?
