Should I confront him?

So me and my friend went out for about two weeks. It was going good for me but then yesterday he broke up with me because he said it was too awkward and he likes being my friend because he wont feel uncomfortable around me. This is fine with me I liked him and all but yeah it was awkward. Howver before he broke up with me he would say stuff to his friend(a gir) im gonna do it today. Im stressed I have to get it over with. And he said it in front of me like I wouldnt know what he wws talking about. But I did and I knew it was coming. Today he asked me whats wrong am I ok. I told him I have nothing to say to him then I walked away. He seem kinda sad at first but then got angry(he is avery angry person). At lunch I walked by and he called me the b word after school my friend was near him and he said why are you talking to the b* It just upsets me that he would call me that when he broke up with me!!! Im nout mad that our relatinship ended, just that he talked about breaking up with me in front of me. Im not gona go on this year with his dirty looks and namecalling. Our friendship is destroyed and I don’t know what to do he made me so mad. We have the same circle of friends. Everything is so awkward. Should I confront him or just let him make an embaresment out of himself. Please help im desperate. Thanks for your time :(
