To confront a friend

My friend Mike, whom I’ve known for a few years introduced me to his best friend, Nick, whom I liked at first, though he had always been disrespectful towards me and my theories and creativity (he thinks he’s a lot more creative than me apparently). Recently Mike has begun acting more like Nick and has been treating me rather poorly, ignoring me in conversation (especially if Nick interrupts me) or discluding me in his and Nick’s activities. I used to plan to move in with Mike and my best friend Brian after high school, but I don’t know any more. I need to confront him in 30 minutes when he gets off work. I plan to tell him that he and Nick have been less than kind to me for too long. I hope to keep our friendship intact, and preferably stay on good terms with Nick, because Mike and I go to his house almost every weekend, but I dont know if I can stand either of them any more.

Be quick and honest. If you can’t be blunt with your friends, how are you going to survive? If he’s being a jerk, then tell him how you’re feeling. Perhaps the other friend is influencing his behaviour?
