Should I See My Father after 11 years?

no. hes your father. but he sexually assulted your mom. if he does that to your mom there is a chance that he could do that same to you. also, if he hasnt tried to find out anything about you, then there is no point in trying to find out after him.

It is totally upto you weither you want to meet him or not, just remember, he committed sexual assault so you have to protect yourself just based off of what you know he was capable of. So when you see him atleast for the first while, don’t go alone, go with a friend or two, or atleast meet in a public place. I don’t want to scare you from seeing him, you just have to stay safe. I hope you atlest meet him if you want too.

11 years is a long time not to see your daughter. he might be avoiding you because he thinks its actually best for you, like it might be too painful or damaging. People make mistakes in moments of weakness. If you want to see him, then meet him in a public place. Nothing will change the fact that he is your father, and you are entitled to a relationship with him if both of you want that. Just be smart about it.
