How to get over school anxiety?

I’ve had school phobia, since middle school. I was a shy girl to begin with, but then in middle school that’s when i began to get bullied A LOT. I’m taking like the kind you see in movie where the kids like chase you around and hit you and all that. I didn’t really talk about I just went quiet. I’m in high school now, in a private type school. The students are alright I guess. Still teenagers that think they’re cool and like to pick on the weirdo. I really hate school, because of that middle experience. I still do get picked on a lot. Only thing that gets me through the day is that summer vacation. Then I’m a Junior, then summer vacation. Senior, vacation. Out of high school with a fresh start. Every Sunday it’s the same thing. Depressed about school, crying, trying to stay positive never works, have to watch a billion things on you tube, then I’m happy for an hour or two, mom comes in and reminds me about school, so I get more depressed. I have 0 friends, so I can call them or anything, I have no one to talk to. I just need to make a change and I can’t do it, because no one will talk to me and I’m afraid to talk. I’m over weight, which makes it everything a billion times harder because all I want is friends, but all I have is. Nasty dirty hair, dry flaky face, fat body, NO CLOTHES, I own like 5 pairs on pj pants and 3 pairs of jeans that barely fit, and only 4 shirts. My mom promises to take me shopping, but it’s hard cause I keep gaining weight. I’m depressed and I just need to find myself or something. Or at least get school figured out so I’m not as stressed. Any tips, advice, and stories.

Change starts on the inside. You are at a good place to start creating a new direction for yourself, but it has to come from inside you. Here is a good way to gain new perspective. i want you to write a short list of things you are grateful for before you go to bed. Write down five things you are thankful for, and let it come from the heart.

hey, u r at a perfect age to star fresh as a high schooler . Exercise more being confident is the BIGGEST thing to life. I know its hard but nothing is easy and don’t blieve in those informicals about “quick fix” everything needs effort. and try to talk to ppl thats how it leads to friendship (conversations). About clothes now that ur at a good age u can start working that way u earn money and buy more clothes. There is a way to everything you just got to think harder. I had an overweight brother and he was always depressed even though i had college he was a 10th grader I would leave my work aside to wake up with him on sat. and sun. very early to start jogging we cut on junks, meats.. and then after school he would listen to music and jog more. By the time he was a senior he was ready to start college as a new fresh he lost weight, gained the confidence to talk more because he build up a high self esteem and i try to remind him of his awful past and its like a blur to him and he never thought of changing. he always had negative thoughts. Start now honey. the future is ahead of u:)

As Freefromself points out…change REALLY does start on the inside. I just wanted to add finding what interests you, maybe a hobby, volunteer work, or some form of orginaization that involves getting together with a like minded people f2f can also help you to start making connections and opening up, your world.
