Is it okay to put frozen meat in a skillet and cook it?

Answer #1

You can but its easier to cook it and it will cook through better if you thaw it. It may taste odd

Answer #2

Yes, but you’ll have to compensate for the fact that it’s frozen - the outside will burn before the inside has a chance to cook, so you’ll have to cook it at a lower temperature for a longer period of time.

Answer #3

Yes, that’s perfectly fine. But it’ll take longer to cook. Try defrosting it in the microwave before you cook it.

Answer #4

Not the best way to cook meat. If it’s a solid meat (not like hamburger) but chicken breasts, chops, etc you could run it under cold water.

Answer #5

ground meat is fine but dont cook a steak or chicken breast like that…it will way over cook the outside and leave the inside raw…

Answer #6

yes but for quick resuts do what Hales said .
