Diet soda is worse than regular soda, but both are bad for you. WE have been Told that Splenda is different than other artificial sweetners such as Aspertame, Equal, Nutrisweet, Sweet N Low etc. Yes it’s different alright. It just has more rat poison and DDT (chemical) in it. Betcha didn’t know that? You should be fully informed about Splenda and other artificial sweetners, which Food Marketers don’t want you to knw. This information is from an OB/GYN. Bread, Pasta & Crackers are the very “WORST” things you can eat if you are tryng to lose weight. Try adding more fruit to your meals. In fact if you feel you have to eat breakfast make it a fruit meal. Very filling. Raw food fills you up a lot faster than cooked food and don’t have to eat as much. Back in the Lord’s day they didn’t have calories, carbohydrates, vitamins & supplements. Insecure you wouldn’t be if you didn’t use such foul language. And you can’t lay all the blame on your parents, they didn’t put the food in to your mouth after age 2, “You did”.

fototag hit the nail on the head.

What you want to avoid is empty carbs. Also check the sugar on the nutrition facts. It may say fat free, low calorie but the sugar is more important for weight loss.

Try and cut your sugar intake. Change to diet soda and look for “sugar free” or “made with splenda” etc.

Also eat whole grain as much as possible. You get more bang for your bite. Whole grains are good for you, while white bread just kinda fills you up. Also try whole wheat pasta.

Good luck!

Answer #3

Carbohydrates. There are three basic types of food, carbs, protein, and fat. For carbs, they are broken down into two different types, simple carbs and complex carbs. The simple carbs are like sugars in that they digest fast in your body and are used first for energy. Complex carbs are like bread, crackers, pasta and they digest more slowly. Here’s the problem with carbs, if you eat a meal with a lot of complex carbs and wash it down with a drink that has a lot of sugar in it, the sugar will be used first for energy and the other carbs will be stored for later use or maybe stored as fat. Any excess calories that you eat more than the enegy you use or burn up, can be converted into fat. But why do you blame your parents? It’s you who is doing the eating.
