Why does my phone keep saying inactive sim?

Ive had the same sony ericsson phone and vodaphone sim for maybe 3 even 4 years and its suddenly doing this?!

might have to ask your provider…maybe there is something wrong with the sim card.

Have you opened the phone and made sure that your sims card is in place and that it fits snuggly…if it seems a bit loose take a small piece of paper folded up and push it between the sim card and phone so that it fits tighter. Also make sure theres no dirt or dust where the sim card chip connects to the phone.

if the sim is now starting to play up just phone vodaphone and get a new sim but tell them you want to keep the same number :p
