How does being on your period effect your weight?

Would it make it decrease, increase or stay the same?

Answer #1

Being on your period can affect the amount of water in your body. Most girls are lighter on the period days, for loss of liquid. But some get water in their legs and are thus heavier. Depends a lot on how your body handles the hormone swings.

Answer #2

being bloated makes you put on weight around your belly

Answer #9

For up to 10 days prior to menstruation your body starts holding back water. If you weigh during this time or during your period you will weigh more. The best time to weigh yourself is just after your cycle.
