No not really. Anything you get high off of is a drug, if people couldn’t get high then it isn’t a drug.

Because it alters the state of mind, makes folks think and act different. I might share that it is definatley not the worst of things, there are much more powerful and destructive ones out there. I haven’t smoked grass in 25 years, but when I did, I never did anything bad or even close to what meth heads or other “hard” substance users seem to do, and I never became addicted. On the other hand, some don’t know how to handle it, so it is in the category.

I have read a number of times that marijuana is the only drug you cannot overdose on….If so? maybe it should be considered different to all the others?

Marijuana (thc, cbd, etc…) is definitely a drug, but it is outstanding from the common negative associations with other phsychoactive chemicals.

That’s why it’s almost legal here in the US.

Using the definition provided by @majikthise you can also place caffeine and nicotine in the classification of drug … commonly used coffee and cigarettes.

no actually it a plant. it grows naturally all over the world just like corn and rice. or coffee. it considered a drug because ignorant America decided to label it that way to control the masses and alter the course of history. it was lobbyist for the paper/ cotton and tobacco companies that had it out lawed by the government
