Why do people still ask me for ID if I want to buy a beer?

I dont know but people still ask me for an id if i want to buy a beer if you know tell me please thank you.

Perhaps you look young? Anyways a lot of people look a lot older than their age. Along with that at liquor stores where I am, I’ve seen some signs saying that they will ID anyone who looks below a certain age.

Hell,i know a liquor store where they ask anybody for an i.d. Even folks in their 70’s& 80’s.

It could be that you look young, or it could even be the store’s policy. At my store we were required to card anyone who looks younger than 30, even though the law says you only have to be 21. Most stores will card anyone who looks fairly young, just to be safe as the state does random checks to make sure we’re carding.
