Why don't parents take out much time for their kids in this busy world?

Answer #1

because as u said they were busy in the “busy world”!

Answer #2

I think that depends on the parent. Some parents try really hard to spend as much time as they can with their children. I think it also depends on their financial situation. Unfortunately a parent who is struggling to support their family is going to have a far harder time spending time with their children than one that has lots of money.

Answer #4

To be frank and as far as i know though there are some parents who do take out time for their kids are very less than those who cannot take out much time for their kids as they will always be busy in their own work than saving time for their kids

Answer #5

Well apparently you are surrounded by parents who dont take time out. That doesnt mean all parents dont take time. You generally draw conclusions based on faulty logic, you really need to learn to not make faulty arguments. Lots of parents take time out for their kids. You just dont see them or apparently know them.

Answer #6

This is not a faulty logic as i have also read some surveys regarding lack of time sparing from parents to their kids. So, it is a well known fact. Then, i never said that all parents don’t take care of their kids but majority of parents have the habit of being workaholic that they tend to give less importance to their children

Answer #7

Society. We’re in an era that relies very heavily on making as much money as possible to provide comfortable living, not only for our children but for ourselves as well. Work wages are unfortunately at such a low that it requires us to work more hours to obtain enough money to meet certain financial responsibilities. For instance, a parent’s primary job may not pay enough money to pay all the bills/expenses of living, resulting in that parent needing to get a second job.

It’s as you stated, the world is a much busier place than it was decades ago when families routinely spent evenings and weekends together. Also, you have to observe the parenting style of parents as well as the type of people the children are. Sometimes, children don’t necessarily want to spend so much time with parents even though that time could very well be dedicated to bonding. It varies.

Answer #8

Well explained and i do agree that living cost has been rising continuously and parents will have to work extra hard to meet the demands. But sparing time for their kids is also very important factor here which cannot be ignored at all
