When parents divorce, do they think about the kids much?
Or are they like, “Aw, they’ll get over it sooner or later”?
Most of the time, they are thinking about the kids. Divorce isn’t something you just decide to do one day for the hell of it - it’s a last resort in a relationship breakdown. Staying together for the kids is an old sentiment, and more often than not, a wrong one, as keeping two people who can’t stand to be with each other together will have negative effects on the children. However, when a marriage ends, it is still a time of grief for the parents, so maybe…for a little while…they are thinking of themselves while they deal with their sorrow. They’re allowed that.
- they really do think about the kids; because they eaither dont want to fight around the kids or kids nomore.
Most of the time if they aren’t selfish.
Lol! Good answer!
i think it actually depends why they break up. sometimes one cant handle the pressure of childrenor they just cant handle being together anymore. if one moved out of the country or something then there probably not thinking of you as much… it may cross there mind though. but if they stayed in the area then they probably think of you alot more. this is just my opinion
I have been divorced for 7 years and I can tell you that the kids are always thought of. When you as an adult are happy you make a much better parent to your children and I make it a point to never bad mouth as much as I cant stand him. And always remind the kids they need both of us. We never fight infront of them. I know its still really hard for them but you can only do the best you can.
My parents got divorced when I was 7. All they do now is talk about my sister and I and they really only think about us. so yes they do . I am now 13 and they have been this way for 5 years and my little sis will never get to see her parents together. But my parents think about us all the time.
No. They hate you.
