How to stop biting my nails for good?

I have had a habit for biting my nails since I even had teeth! I’ve tried those really nasty tasting nail polish, putting fake ones to let it grow [ forced to do so. -_- ], and that’s pretty much all. I’ve tried to stop, but I can end up biting without even noticing! Are there any other methods I could try?

& I really couldn’t find the “right” category for this subject so I tried to be as accurate as I could.

put something that tasted really bad on your nails. when you bite them, itll taste bad. it works unless you like the stuff

Oh no, I’m not angry at all. Frustated is a no-no. It’s been a habit for the longest time! I just bite them without noticing that I am. But I will try some of the methods that were given from the website. Thanks!

well just recently I pretty much grew out of biting my nails…I don’t know y…I didn’t even try to stop…I had bit them for as long as I could remember and then all of a sudden one day my mom was just like…your nails are getting so pretty…I was like wow…guess I don’t bite them anymore…maybe you shouldn’t really worry about it…but there are a lot of germs already under your nailes without dipping them in the toilet LOL

Hot peppers may stop you from biting your nails, but if you rub your eyes it wont be pleasant…
