honestly, i think it is another bogus crash diet.
This is a recent modification of the original "Seafood Diet" ..... ..... whenever you see food, eat it. This particular diet had a dreadful effect on the overall health of many obese people.
However, great hopes are held for the new " Seafood Diet MkII " ..... ..... whenever you see food, just look at it.
Early assessments of its effectiveness warn of the dangers of malnutrition and anorexia.

Okay Ive read many artice on this subject and hear is what sounds to be the best answer. The idea around this diet ritual is that when you stare at the food you realize if you realy need it and want it. Im not sure if it works for everyone, but I know it does for some people. So I'd just try it.
When i stare at something for so long i want to eat it more than to leave it alone so i doubt very much it works haha. If you want to try cutting down on your portions then try drinking a bottle of water before breakfast/lunch/dinner it will fill you up faster when you eat.
Oh, yum a low fat cake, let me stare at it for ten minutes while my stomach growls that way I wont eat the whole damn thing even though that's all im going to be thinking about as I stare.
im not trying diets, i just read about it and we were learning about the effects of crash diets in foods class and my cousin who is 12 and obsessed with her weight just went on it
-TEN MINUTES- nomnomnomnomomnomnomnomomnomnom -FIFTEEN MINTUES LATER- Ugh, I shouldnt have ate that whole cake, next time i'll start for twenty minutes.
I don't think it will work at all, if you really want something and you stare at it odds are that you will eat even more.
theres no pills or anything. its just staring at food before you eat it. it sounds to ridicoulus to be true :P
doubt it works, probably makes you think that you want to eat it all- But ive never tired it so..
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard
I think its a placebo...
