Can my neighbour make me cut down my very large conifer in my garden?

Answer #1

If the branches are infringing on your neighbour’s property, they can ask you to trim it … if the roots are near or are reaching the foundations of their house, they can request it be removed so it doesn’t damage their foundation.

Answer #2

Make sure it does not disturb their property, like its falling leaves or brances.

Answer #3

Your neighbor cant make you unless its damaging their property.

Answer #4

thank you it is very large but the birds love to nest in it and gives me privacy I don’t mind them cutting all that hans over the fence but don’t want to loose the whole tree although because its a conifer I thought I might have a battle on my hands cheers margaret
