My husband cheated and I hurt

My husband had an affair after we were married for 20 years. He says it was “sex” in fact he was the one that dropped the bomb. I am hurting so much - I can hardly stand it. Its been less than 6 months what should I do? He wants to save our marriage and is always trying to make me feel better. He says he loves me more now than before. Just the thought of losing me made him realize how much he cares. He cries as much as I do - and both hold each other and cry together. Should I stay or should I go?

you definatley dont deserve this! I wouldnt say go because iknow how hard this must be and its easier said than done to just leave maybe you should have time away from him for a while he needs to understand that he made a HUGE mistake and that your not someone he can just come back to and it’ll be all ok because if you take him back too easy he will do it again to quote thechika08 ‘once a cheater always a cheater’ I think he needs 2 learn his lesson and learn that you are a faluble human being and any other man could have you so he should consider himself lucky enough that you would even take him back after he has done such a thing! by the sounds of things you are a far better person than him so what he done should not be taken lightly if you still want to be with him just make him learn his lesson then take him back! hope I helped x
