How can I make sex with my husband hurt less?

Ok so I’ve been married almost a year now and for the record my husband is a husky guy. During sex my legs tend to give out very early and my hips will start hurting. We have tried several positions to try and make sure I don’t hurt but to no avail. My legs are so short it’s painful to straddle him so the top is usually out of the question…and wrapping my legs around his hips while he’s on top brings about the same problem. Should we look into him loosing weight or are there some types of exercises I can do to cause my legs not to hurt? I love my husband and I just want us to be able to have a healthy sexual relationship.

Maybe you should stretch more so you’re more flexible?

Either or both of you being in better shape may indeed help, but you have only listed two positions. What about doggy, and on your sides with legs interlocked (I don’t know that name), or just about any position on your sides. And cuddling afterwards! Further, you didn’t say how long the energetic portion was. If by chance it is longer than is comfortable for you, you may have to let him know that. Some younger guys (and guys in their 20s qualify for ‘younger’) think that the longer they keep going, the more it shows their prowess; but many women only think “OW” after 10-12 minutes. (This from a well respected doctor.) BUT only discuss this when you two are not in the heat of battle. I hope that the two of you can solve this problem, because physical intimacy is important in a relationship. Good Luck!!

We have tried doggy but honestly i don’t want that to be the only one that both of us can enjoy and tbh i

Answer #4

I would go to your doctor and tell him…If your not doing anything out of the ordinary then i would suspect a slipped disk in your spine .You may need some physiopherapy and some pointers in how to sit /stand ect but I am sure if your not doing anything strange then its prob medical and no doubt spine related…Some good advice and a few exercises and your pains should go…IMO.

Answer #7

thanks i will have to do that
