Answer #1

go to any pet store and get somthing called nutri-cal for puppies its a high calorie dietary supplement that will help them eat more and my dog LOVES it,,,also I got my chihuahua at 5 1/2 weeks and I had to literally force bottle feed him because hes a teacup chihuahua and he weighed less than a pound they didnt think he was going to survive,,,so my vet gave me somethin called demodex and in less than a week he was up and going eating on his own and everything…u should inquire I’ve had my baby for about a year now and hes very healthy and active hope this helped

At the very least, you should take him to the vet, and have him checked to make sure that all is well with him…there are other things that puppies get (that don’t affect adult dogs)…Coccidia, for instance.

If this pup is important to you, then go to someone who knows what they are doing…a professional, LIKE THE VET… I’ve seen way too much “non-knowledgable” and down right crappy advice here, to risk my pups life and health…

Puppies should be with their mothers until at LEAST 6 weeks of age.

What are you trying to feed him? If you’re giving him dog food he won’t eat it. He shouldn’t be weaned this young.

Go to your vet or the local Humane Society and buy a neonatal dog bottle and puppy formula. It comes in a powder, which you mix with warm water. It might take him a bit to get used to the bottle, but he should eat that. Feed him that until about 6-7 weeks, then by 8 weeks he should eat puppy kibble.

Answer #4

you have to wipe their butts to stimulate them just like their moms would lick them.

Answer #5

BEST THING TO DO IS CALL YOUR LOCAL VET/ANIMAL SHELTER IF THE VET WILL NOT GIVE FREE ADVICE.
