My cat is going to be put to sleep.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I have to tell you I deal with death (in general) very well. I understand that they are better off in heaven then here on earth if they are sick or hurting in anyway. I go into the vets room with them and hold their head and cry and tell them I love them and it is ok. Then I cry for like ten minutes and go home and bury them. I miss them almost everyday but to know they are not hurting anymore makes me smile. My uncle is dying right now and I hope it is quick. He is hurting. I know it is sad on the loved ones left but isnt it worse to have them and be in pain or to let them go and be free. I hope this helps in anyway. Again I am sorry and have been through this a number of times and can relate.

I had that happen to me a couple years ago with mi dog. it actually helped me to jsut cry it all out and think of all the good memories we shared. it may help for you. im sorry for the loss.

First let me tell you how sorry I am for your loss…

We who love our animals take them into our hearts and care for them all of their lives…knowing that we will outlive them…The one BIG responsibility we have towards those furry souls…the one promise we make to them and to ourselves is that we will not stand by and let them suffer. It’s this last promise that is so hard, yet is the one we must keep no matter what.

I feel for you. honey…it’s not easy…and you’ll feel the pain for a while to come. It will get better with time…I promise.

I am so sorry, I cry everyday with our clients who have to make this choice. It is very sad and there are no words for me to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Sometimes it helps if we give the client some hair, or some may do home burial, some do cremation with ashes saved others just do cremation with no ashes back. Others like us to give them a paw print before they leave. It is all on what you and your family think is best. But crying is certainly ok.
