my best friend is a mom... and she's 15.

my best friend, kelly, is 15. when she was 14 she had sex with her other friend who im not friends with, vicky’s boyfriend. well she got pregnant. she had the baby around august and gave her up so she could have a good life. problem is,I know she misses her baby (they named her nichole by the way) but she never talks about it. it makes me sad that she is in so much pain but doesnt ever talk about it because she is so embarassed. and please dont judge her because this whole thing is hard enough on her already and I was in the same situation about 8 months ago but I miscarried. I woulda been having my baby this april so please dont judge just give advice.

You really should wait till you’re ready for it; being a teen parent isn’t really something to be embarrassed about though, It’s just consequences of choices that they made, whether they were ready or not. I’ve never been in this situation so I can only guess what’s going through your, and your friend’s mind. Sorry I couldn’t help much

Im am a teen parent and its not the easiest thing.. But the important thing your friend needs to remeber is that she didnt give the baby up because she didnt love it, care for it , or want it, its because she knew she couldnt be a parent right then and she did the best thing she could have done, giving the baby the best that she could is what she did and I give her mad respect for that I would have never been able to do that. As far as missing the baby she couldve gotten an open adoption so she could see pics and visit the baby and have contact, this is something I feel will never go away but she will relize in the future it was the best thing to do… Im so sorry shes having this experience and I hope all turns out for the best for her… And good luck to you…
