Best Friend Drama

My best friend and I met a girl at the same time along with another friend or ours. She went on 2 dates with the first friend, then moved on to my best friend, they slept together 4 times for about 2 months, never dated. now I’m in a situation where she has moved onto me and I don’t know what to do about it because my best friend says that I’m disrespecting our friendship. I now it sounds weird that I would follow my best friend after the sleeping together, but I don’t date for sex. we are not feeling strongly about each other but are thinking about calling it quits because my best friend says he will denounce our friendship if we date
