why does my mom not let me see my bio dad or grandma ?

why is it that she dont want me to go and visit my dad ?

Well maybe because she’s hurt at somethinf your dad probably did to her. Or she knows that something about him may be no good if he’s a drunky or weed head etc it can be many things. But if your 18 you should have your own choice to see him or not. Btw don’t take anything offensive. I’m just saying possibilities.

She could be scared that you are going to get hurt or that she is going to get hurt. Maybe there are other reasons the broke up and she doesn’t want you finding out. And I agree with Angie, it is your choice. If you want to see him go and do it, but be realistic about the whole situation. Things don’t always work out as we plan them.

Tough question. My mother was adopted at birth and it was a closed adoption so there is no way of her finding them unless she pays a private investigator. She did and only got so far then changed her mind. It’s not like everyone says that they don’t want anything to do with you it’s just that they weren’t in the right place but seeing them could possible sture some emotions that could really be more detrimental than what you feel now.
