How many minutes or hours should I work out using 5 Ib dumbells?
You should ease yourself into an exercise routine, start with 5 minutes of arm curls three times a week and try to increase it by 5 minutes every week until you total 20 minutes of exercise. Try working your abdominal muscles with squats and forward stretches while holding the weights, and also you can exercise your shoulder and neck muscles by raising the weights from your sides, with your palms facing your hips and ending the move so your arms are in a straight line and level with your neck.
And remember that you only create new muscle by tearing the old, so literally no pain, no gain.
