Mii Dogg

Okay..mii dog is 7yrs old..he is a german shepard..he is in good shape..he doesnt have any problems at all. He always runs around&never gets tired he is like a puppy to me..I was just wondering..I still have lots of years with him right? I love him so much.

German Shepards usually live around 11-12 years in age so yeah he’s only middle age in dog years. However always bring him for annual vet check ups so you can make sure nothing is wrong with him and catch any problems that may arise before they get too serious.

Sure you do…especially since at 7, he’s showing no signs of any skeletal problems…like arthritic hips, elbows or pasterns…These days the average is 13…However, I belong to a German Shepherd Group where there are many MANY GSD’s living until they are 14 to 16 years old…

As he ages, just make sure you get him in for his annual checkups (and keep his weight down)…this does a lot to ensure a longer life.
