Meditation?

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about meditation? Like how to do it? What happens when you do it? Thanks for your help…

I actually meditate basically you find your ora and a comfort zone…you would have to take classes…it actaully helps when your stresses

its basically balancing your mind out like leaving it blank for open thoughts to flow in and out you go to a quiet place with either complete silence or running water (like a fountain) and go into the position(you’d have to look it up) there is a breathing technique involved but I think meditation is great for being more spiritually intact with yourself:)

Meditation helps me to relax and people have their own ways of doing it. Some people use it to get to sleep at night. I sit and cross my legs (Indian style) and do the breathing exercises that foxxy was referring to. Then I go to a nice place in my mind. The breathing brings in more Oxygen and it seems to help relax. I like to have soothing music but the water thing tends to distract me. I’m on Oxygen for an illness called COPD so breathing correctly is very important for me as it helps my lungs. There’s probably a lot of sites you could go to and find out more.
