Lyrics for a song for my metal band in memory of my boyfriend

New song for my metal band, I lost my boyfriend last month to stomach cancer and this song is in memory of him. let me know what you think, I just wrote it. We’re kinda a Bring Me the Horizon-esq band except I’m a chick and I front (sing/scream).

Lets pretend we don’t know everything we do take a chance, make plans just to break them, have the faith to pray for rain and carry an umbrella while the sun still shines and no clouds are in the sky darling that sun’s no longer shining and darkness fills our lives since you’ve left I’ve stopped praying looks like when it came down to it, I was the one who was faithless

Sorry for your loss. Nice lyrics but, I’d like to hear the song sometime…keep your chin up…all things happen for a reason…even if we never find out the reason…

im so sorry about your loss! God helps in those situations so much…I lost my boyfriend to cancer to…it really tested my faith but God is the only one who can truly help :) those lyrics are beautiful…I rally think you should try them as a soft acoustic guitar song so people can hear the lyrics really well. that would sound so amazing!
