So... Congress lost a huge amount of Democratic chairs, is this a good or bad thing in your honest opinion?
The party in the White House generally does loose chairs in congress in mid-term elections. The American people gets nervous when one party seems to have too much power.
Democrats did loose seats but nothing historically unusual.
Is it a good thing? In general no but if it causes Democrats to stand by their convictions and grow a backbone than it could long term be helpful.
Good for the most part. Not to get into detail in a case by case basis... for the most part voting out the statist incumbents... regardless of party... is the only means to effect any change through enfranchisement. We should reward those populists who eschew the Establishment by voting to keep them in office... but they are few and far between lately.
You can't really call an entire political party 'bad'. There's more to it than that. It's mostly a matter of opinion: if you're a Republican then you might say a Democrat is bad, but people who lean to the left wouldn't consider Democrats bad.
A suggestion, if you're not well versed in a subject, either do the research or try not to say anything... Especially if all you know about the subject is from overhearing your family or fox news.
im kinda dumb about polotics, but i think its good, because arent democrats bad? so that means it would be good to lose those chairs right?
DEPENDS WHO YOU SUPPORT, AND YOUR POLITICAL VIEWS.
