Linear equation help

So im basically screwed right now, I got to do like 5 math assignments or I basically fail algebra II, can someone help me out with these, I’ve been reading the damn text book for like an hour and a half, I need the coordinates, thanks a bunch

2x + 3y = 12 by graphing 3 points.

2x – 2y = 6 by graphing 3 points.

3x - 2y = 6 by graphing the x and why intercepts.

-x + 3y = -9 by graphing the x and why intercepts.

4x - 3y = 6 by the slope intercept method.

3x + 5y = 12 by the slope intercept method.

y=|x+4| 5 step method

y=|-1/2x-3| 5 step method

Ok its been a while but I thin I can help with some of them.

For the first 2, solve for Y, then pick a number - plug it in for x, and run the equation. That will give you a pair of (x,y) values. Repeat 2 more times to get your 3 points.

for the next 2 you want to get them in this format: y=mx+b. So whatever b= is your why intercept, so (0,B) is one point. Then plug in 0 for y, and solve. That will give you your x intercept, (X, 0).

on next 2, slope - intercept, again I would get them in y=mx+b form. So your b again is your y-intercept, (0,B), then use the slope (m) to find another point. Slope is Rise over run. So your slope should be a fraction, or if its a hole number just put it over 1. So go up whatever the numerator is, and over whatever the denominator is.

For the last, 2 sorry but I don’t remember what the step method is :(.

Hope that helps some. I believe I’m correct, but its been like 5-6 years since I did that stuff.
