Leg and stomach work outs

I do loadsss of sit ups everyday because im trying to get a flat stomach, do sit ups help at all to get a flatter stomach? how many rougly do I have to do daily to see improvements?

do leg lifts help tone up my legs, or just make them muscly? I do a lot of them as well, but I want the excess fat on my legs to go and not turn into muscle. how many do I have to do daily so I see improvements? also what else can I do to help tone up my stomach and thighs? I cant go running because the snow is really bad over here and if I do ill just slip lol does jogging on the spot help? I cant join the gym just yet- but untill then I want some good replacements. thanks!

How about getting a hula hoop for your stomach…gives you a hell of a work out. lol. I am doing it at the moment. For your thighs try lunges.
