If so, How do I ask for a volunteer position?
I'd try at the smaller law firms who are in desperate need of help. Honestly though, I dont know how it would work with client confidentiality and all that at stake.
You either call them up or walk in and ask if they need some help. Make sure you can tell them why you want to volunteer there.
