IT WAS CONSTANTINE A ROMAN EMPEROR WHO SEPERTATED CHRISTIANITY FROM IT’S JEWISH OR HEBRAIC ROOTS. HE WORSHIPPED THE SUN GOD AND OTHER ROMAN GODS AND WHEN HE SAW HE COULD NOT WIPE OUT CHRISTIANITY HE SOUGHT TO ABSORB IT INTO HIS RELIGIONS. HE ORDERED ALL CHRISTIANS TO STOP WORSHIPPING GOD ON SATURDAY THE SABBATH AND TO START WORSHIPPING ON SUNDAY THE DAY OF WORSHIP TO THE SUN GOD. HE FORBAD THE OBSERVANCE OF PASSOVER AND THREE DAYS LATTER FIRST FRUITS AND INSTITUTED GOOD FRIDAY AND EASTER THE WORSHIP OF ESHTAR A GODESS OF FURTILITY. THUS WE LOOK FOR EASTER EGGS TO THIS DAY. HE FORCED CHRISTIANS TO GIVE UP THEIR JEWISH HERITAGE ON PAIN OF DEATH. HE HATED THE JEWS AND SOUGHT TO ELEMINATE ALL EVEDINCE THAT JESUS IS JEWISH. AND SO WE TO THIS DAY HAVE THE ROMAN SEAT OF AUTHORITY AND THEY STILL FOLLOW PAGAN PRACTICES… SORRY IF THIS OFFENDS, BUT IT IS ONLY HISTORIC FACT. THERE IS A HUGE MOVEMENT AMONG CHRISTIANS TODAY TO RECLAIM OUR JEWISH HERITAGE. I RECOMEND THE BOOK ‘THE TORAH BLESSING’ BY LARRY HUCH. Each question you asked could fill a semester of seminary classes, but in a nutshell…

  1. Jesus was a rabbi who taught that he was the Messiah of Jewish theology, the one who would someday arrive from heaven to redeem mankind and lead them to Paradise. Some believed him, carried on his teachings, and became early Christians. Others rejected the idea and remained Jews. And Hindus sat on the sidelines and thought the whole argument was silly and kept on worshiping an elephant man.

  2. Christianity was an underground cult for about 300 years after the death of Jesus, always in danger of being wiped out by the Romans until Constantine, who was at war for his right to be emperor of Rome, saw a vision of a cross and heard a voice that told him that if he won, he was to accept Christ as his new god. He won, became emperor of Rome, established Christianity as the state religion, and modern Roman Catholicism was born. (“Catholic,” incidentally, was a term that had been used since around 100 AD to mean “universal,” as in, “the church for all,” but the term had by this time evolved to mean “orthodox,” excluding the many splinter sects.)

  3. It didn’t take long (a matter of decades, in fact) for the Church to begin quarreling bitterly amongst itself on matters of dogma. The nature of the Trinity was a major sticking point; that is, whether God was literally split in the three parts or whether they were all part of the same being. Jesus’ nature was another problem. Was he divine or was he a man? Was he literally the son of a god, or was it more of a symbolic relationship. Several ecumenical councils failed to resolve anything, and the church began down a path of fracturing and subdividing from which it has never recovered.

  4. Fast forward to the Reformation, snake handlers, and Mormons. Scene.

Jesus (Alahi Salaam)was a very important prophet sent to the Children of Isreal to annonce the good news to the believers. He came with the same message of the othere prophets before him. That message was: Worship and Adore your Lord, God. Jesus did many miracles, heal the sick, cure the blind, he even brought the dead back to life. All with the permission of God. God later ascended Jesus (alahi Salaam)to heaven where he sits close to God. Only to come back to the earth at the day of Judgement to lead the nation of Muslims. Inshallah.

Born Again is a term used originally and mainly in Christianity, where it is associated with salvation, conversion and spiritual rebirth. Please take time to read Jesus’s conversation with Nicodemus. John 3:1-21

1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him.”

3 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.

Roman Catholic Church will list Peter as the first Pope but in truth for 500 years there were no Popes. It was first given to Gregory I by the wicked emperor Phocas, in the year 604. Gregory, however, refused the title, but his second successor, Boniface III assumed the title, and it has been the designation of the bishops of Rome ever since.

Peter was not the first pope. According to the Roman Catholic Church the Pope is infallible, means he never makes mistakes. No one can rebuke the pope. However Apostle Paul rebuked Peter.

Ga 2:11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

Then Why Does the Roman Catholic Church List Apostle Peter as the First Pope?

The Church of Rome uses the following scripture to prove their case. Let us read.

Mt 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Well, doesn’t it look clear that the Church Built on Peter?

No. It does not. Peter in Greek is Petros it means a small rock or a stone. Jesus in Matthew 16:18 said, Thou art Peter, meaning a small rock/stone. Then Jesus said upon this rock. Rock here in Greek is not Petros but Petra meaning a large rock and on that large rock he will build his church not on a stone. The church is not built on a little stone but on the large rock of Jesus Christ, if the church is built on a man’s foundation it will not last.

there is other holy scriptures in the Bible to say that Jesus is the Rock. … Read the following.

1Co 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Ps 89:26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

Is the Church Built on the Foundation of Christ Jesus?

Yes, Read the scripture.

1 Cor 3: 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Messianic Christianity is actually 2,000 years old, dating back to the time of the Messiah Yeshua. Historically, Yeshua was Jewish. He was raised in a Jewish home and ministered to Jewish people in a Jewish land (Eretz Yisrael). His disciples were Jewish. The apostles were Jewish. The writes of the Brit Hadashah (New Covenant or New Testament) were Jewish and for a time, the faith was strictly Jewish. Some historians believe that more than one million Jewish people in the first century A.D. believed that Yeshua was the Messiah, both in Israel and outside Israel (Acts 2:37-42, 4:4, 21:20)

It was always God’s will for the Gentile nations to also receive His Salvation (Is 49:6, 42:6). God told Abraham that through him all the nations of the earth would be blessed (Gen. 12:1-3). At first, the early Messianic Jews did not understand that this was God’s will and proclaimed the Good News of the Messiah only to Jewish people.

Ironically, the big controversy in the first century was not if it was Jewish to believe in Yeshua (naturally it was), but whether Gentiles could come to faith in Yeshua without having to ^become Jewish^! When Messianic Jews finally recognized that God’s Salvation was also for the Gentile, they began to share the Messiah with non-Jews as well as with Jews. As a result, many Gentiles throughout the Roman Empire began to come into this Messianic faith (Acts 15:3-31)

patsview He was later given the keys to restore Gods true churhc upon the earth again. It is called The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is the only true church on earth. join it. Read REVELATION 22:19 ~

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

  1. We don’t really know if Jesus was historical. The only records of him are grossly implausible through and through, so if a historical Jesus existed, we have lost all real records of him.

  2. Since we know virtually nothing about the historical Jesus (including whether or not there was a historical Jesus), then we also don’t know he was a Jew. What we do know, is that Christianity as we know it was a Jewish movement that answers the questions of why YHWH allowed the temple to be destroyed and his people decimated by Rome in the Jewish wars (particularly the Bar Kochba revolt of 130-135 CE), and so, it could easily have been born as a reaction to those events.

  3. “Catholic” simply means ‘universal’. The Roman Catholic church is the universal church established by the Roman emperor Constantine in the 4th century, and was spread world wide by force.

“Jesus Christ is easily the most important figure that ever apeared in the history of mankind. It makes no difference how you may regard him, you will have to concede that. This is true whether you choose to call him God or man; and if man, whether you choose to consider him the world’s greatest prophet and teacher, or merely as a well-intentioned fanatic who came to grief, failure and ruin, after a short and stormy public carreer. However you regard him, the fact will remain that the life and death of jesus, and the teachings attributed to him have influenced the course of human history more than those of any other man who has ever lived.” - Emmet Fox

I "marched to the beat of my own drum" , and that march has led me right back to Jesus. I studied Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism, Buhdism and Islam, and though each has great moral teachings, (if read write), I still yearned for fulfilment. Hinduism has a great theory for God and Creation, but left me with questions. Early on in my spritual quest I had heard things like "read the red parts", (referring of course to the testimony of Christ himself, written in red ink in most KJV bibles.) And I have to admit his moral teaching's and love of man were my favorite. :)

It was not until I had a change in my life that I came to realize what that meant to me personally. I was listening to a talk given by a man who was retelling the prodigal son story. He add libbed it in a way that was very parallel to my life. when he finished I fell to my knees and cried and said that is the God I want, (I was alone in my room.) It was so powerful, I felt the spirit of God move through me. I cried for weeks afterward. I cry to this day because of his grace and mercy. To me the Gospel is tops. All the dogmatic crap can go kiss a duck, I will let others squabble over that.

cynsim10 good answer. I wish that Catholics realize this truth

Answer #8

wow its funny seeing all these people comment on Jesus and such when they have no idea who he is, yes Jesus is was “of flesh” (meaning he was human) but spiritually he was (in my opinion) better than any human (because he could resist temptation) any there’s record of him in the Bible (if you don’t believe that then) also the Jews also admit to killing Jesus (they just don’t believe he was the messiah), Yes Jesus was killed but he also was resurrected and once that happened a new testimate was created to those who accepted the Jesus as their Lord and their savior will be saved.

After Jesus died and rose again then assended to heaven, there became two major groups of religous views. One was the assariams and the ortohdoxs. One believe Jesus was a God and the son of God. The other believed he wasn’t a God but a profeht. After he died things got pretty mixed up with every body. Wars happens over differnt views and countries fail and were made. By the time the first Pope was in power, even through he may have been a good guy. He had no heavenly power connected to Jesus Christ. Which was called his priesthood power to run the Church of God on earth. It wasn’t until a 14 year old boy asked a question “Which Church was right?” that the power to have Gods church back on earth was again given to man. This boys name was Joseph Smith. He saw God the Father and the son in a vision and was told to join non of them. He was later given the keys to restore Gods true churhc upon the earth again. It is called The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is the only true church on earth. join it.
