Why do jeans shrink in the wash?

Answer #1

sometimes you r growing or they r made out of a ceartan kind of fabric that shrinks when u wash it

Answer #2

Because the cotton fibers of your jeans are made of lots of small molecules, linked together to form huge chains of molecules called polymers. Weak links called hydrogen bonds connect the polymer chains end-to-end. When the bonds break, the polymers crinkle up. Result: shrinkage. Hahahaha….yup….
