How to make jeans shrink?

heyy I bought a pair of skinny leg jeans, buh they arent tight enough on the legs. goes anyone know how to make jeans shrink? is there a way to clean them to make them shrink? I heard that you shud wash them in cold water but im not sure.

I’ve heard this works… Put them on and sit in the bathtub till the jeans are the size you want them, they will tighten up, then go throw them in the dryer.

the thigh parts on my jeans are always too big so I soak the legs on the jeans from the thighs down in really hot water from the sink then ring it out and throw it in the dryer immediately. this always works for me. should work if you soak the entire jean with hot water then throw in dryer, also.

I think cold water used to work on old-fashioned jeans, but nowadays I agree that the fabric is pre-shrunk so it won’t change much in cold water.

WASH IN HOT WATER IT WORKS FOR ME AND THEN PUT THEM IN THE DRYER.

wash them in hot water, that will make them shrink. cold water won’t let them shrink.

Wash in hot water and rince in cold water. Then, make them dry in the dryer at the max heat. Do that twice and it will shrink more than a size.
