itchy down there

ok well I am 14 years old and I am not sexually active at all…I have never been fingered or eaten out or anythinggg…well I want 2 no why my vagina and butt itch. It started with my vagina and then after a few months my butt started to itch 2 and I scrath it sometimes untill it starts to bleed it is red and itches a lott I dont want to tell my mom becuase that is just weird 2 me… is it ok to be eaten out and fingered even tho I have this itch?? please someone help me!

Sweetheart, sounds to me like you’ve got a good old yeast infection. Welcome to womanhood. Have you taken a course of antibiotics in the last few months? If so they can cause a yeast infection. Or if you take a lot of baths…it can cause the good bacteria in your vagina to be washed out causing an infection. It is easily treated with over the counter monistat. It is alittle on the expensive side. As a mom, I would advise you to tell your mother. It is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about, I am sure your mom has had many, we all have. As far as your question about oral sex, if it is a yeast infection, it is a big no no. You can pass the yeast to your partners mouth. I wouldn’t advise it. Good luck to you.

im a boy so dont get freaked out but I know from relationships that thrush can be caused by other things that sex rough underwere such as thongs can cause it (rubbing) and so can tampons its nothing to worry about its only a yeast infection just go to the docs or even chemist and get a pill
