Sex during period-- now itchy

I’m on my period and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex (for the first time, because I thought it was safer on period to do unprotected) and he did finish inside me. It’s been two days since and this morning I stopped bleeding but it’s been really itchy on the inside because the blood isn’t actually flowing out (wiped up inside and it was bloody). what’s going on?

you have interrupted a natural body cycle. it may not be anything but irratation, but you could have easily gotton a yeast infection from it. thats why it IS NOT recommended that you have sex while menstrating. you should seek medical advice, if this problem persists. one thing that could help is to clean yourself out.

You do realize you can get pregnant while on your period right? And that sperm can live up to 4 days inside you…
