What is the reasoning for an itchy vagina and a yellow discharge?

it’s been going on for about 5 days now and I’ve been sexually active and using condoms everytime. do you think im allergic to latex? or could it be a yeast infection? help please.

Answer #1

Yellow, itcy…Does it hurt/burn when you urinate.

If so it could be Gonorrhea. Yes condoms help but nothing is 100% effective in protecting you from an STD besides abstinence.

Go to the doctors.

Answer #2

it could be a yeast infection/ thrush you need to see a doctor to find out what it is and if its cureable/treatable though if it is a yeast infection/thrush it can be easily treated

Answer #3

Discharge is normal when it’s clear/whiteish and odorless. Since your having a yellow itchy discharge, it could be a yeast infection/other type of infection or an STD (since you’ve been sexually active). As zudano said - condoms may help, but they don’t fully stop you from getting an STD. Just like you can still get pregnant even if you use protection because all forms of protection can fail.

To clear your issue you up - try some Vagisil first. If they condition doesn’t start clearing up a few days after you start using the Vagisil or it gets worse/you notice other changes, it’d be best to see a doctor.

Answer #4

I also have a light yellowish/white thicker discharge.

Answer #5
