is it possible to reach an enlightened state or a jesus state ?

Though I am not a “Christian” I do believe that Jesus existed and I do believe in most of the teachings that are in the Bible. it is possible to achieve what you would call a “Jesus State”.

Jesus said that we would do the things that he has done and greater.

“Is it not written in your own law, ‘I said: You are gods’? Those who are called gods to whom the word of God was delivered-and scripture can not be set aside”

                       -John 10:34,35

I would say that meditating is a great way to help achieve this state, but also we must apply the teachings of Christ to our actions also… such as… unconditional love. Love vibrates at the highest energy frequency. Bringing mind, body, and spirit into unison and filling ever essence of your being with loving energy alone could possibly boost you to a state of transcendance (what people will refer to as a rapture once humans learn to do this)
