Answer #1

Just me, but I sure wouldn’t want to face death not knowing where I’ll spend eternity.

Answer #2

Its perfectly ok it just menas you actualy looked at it objectivly. dont listen to thoese that tell you your going to hell. none of it exist.

Answer #3

No, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with failing to believe in god, any more than there’s anything wrong with failing to be superstitious, or believe in santa claus or the tooth fairy.

Answer #4

I get the same thing from people, they think I’m weird or they’re scared of me, it’s not a bad thing it’s a good thing to see the world how you want to and to believe in what you think is true in your heart , ignore those who say it’s bad they aren’t openminded enough and many are just very ignorant about things like this.

Answer #5

I’m a christian, and no it’s not bad. it’s your beliefs. I mean I have two friends who are athiest.

Answer #6

^if you dont believe in hell, you wont go there. believing in your religion is not a sin. not believing in Gd, it shouldn’t be considered a sin “cause it is totally disagreeing with another religion”.

Answer #7

Most of the older generation all believed in God.

The new generation… is the main one, in all of history…

that does not… believe in God.

And that can be credited with the brainwashing…

that they system… has done on the citizens…

and the lies that have been planted in the minds of this generation.

The older generations… do look at this one, in a different light…

because they are… different.

I do not know the statistics… but, I would venture to guess that there are more

unbelievers in this generation, that all the previous generations…

put together.

Answer #8

“Just me, but I sure wouldn’t want to face death not knowing where I’ll spend eternity.”

Well I sure wouldn’t want to spend eternity with an egotistical bastard who condemns people to hell solely for not believing in something as unknowable as a deity. It doesn’t matter how many good things you did in life, you will be sent to the fire simply because the all-knowing, all-powerful SOB didn’t get any worshiping out of you while you were alive.

Does that really make sense to you amblessed?

Answer #9

Did someone leave the asylum door unlocked? It’s hard to believe some of the insane answers posted above to such a simple and nonantagonistic question.

In answer to the OP, no, there’s nothing wrong with failing to believe in nonsense ideas like ‘god’. How absurd to think that if there were a creator, the one thing that would matter most to it, would be that we believe in it. It’s a laughably stupid idea.

Answer #10

IF THERE IS NO GOD THEN HOW DID YOU GET HERE? HOW DID ANYTHNG GET HERE? THINGS JUST DON’T HAPPEN ON THERE OWN. IT’S ONLY BAD THAT YOU DON’T BELIEVE BECAUSE YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON SO MUCH. GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH. I WISH YOU COULD JUST FEEL WHAT I FEEL. I NEVER PUT PEOPLE DOWN FOR THERE BELIEFS BUT I WILL PRAY THAT THE LORD WILL OPEN YOUR EYES. I AM HERE IF YOU NEED TO TALK ABOUT ANYTHING. JUST THINK ABOUT THIS.

Answer #11

well if you want to live in hell after you die then whatever but it is eternal. you can’t change your mind once you get there and see how bad it is. so you might as well ask for forgiveness and have the gift of eternal life in heaven…in heaven it is so good you can’t explain it. there is no sadness, no pain, no hospitals, no sickness, it all good. and you get to be with your family

Answer #12

If I got a penny for every time someone asked me why I don’t believe in “God”. . .

I don’t believe in “God” in the sense of what is defined in the books. If “god” is such a two-faced entity, I’d rather not associate myself with him. The Christian God reminds me of Cybil with these multiple personalities.

I believe that there is SOME kind of god but I have no idea what that is. Humans are a pretty stupid race (see postings above for proof) so I just don’t think we can comprehend what the grand scheme is.

Additionally, if any Christian believes you are going to hell for lack of belief and blind faith, Judge Not Lest Ye be Judged. . .god allows people to question. It’s better to be safe than sorry. . .better to not believe in the wrong god. Your logic completely negates your argument.

Answer #13

If you are confused, that makes you agnostic.

sigh …that’s not correct…

Answer #14

DO A BARREL ROLL

Answer #15

It’s not a bad thing - people just misunderstand atheist. They think we live without morals and want anarchy which is completely false.

You can be an athiest and still have morals, still be a good person, and still have faith in other things in life.

Answer #16

Being an atheist - you do know where you will spend eternity after you die. It’s not unknowing, it’s not believing in a magical being.

Atheist are not confused about death, they know what comes after. If you are confused, that makes you agnostic.

Answer #17

no its not. I hate people that judge people that dont believe in him. like they’re better than us. whatever!

Answer #18

many traditional god-believing people think that by not believing we don’t have any morals and that we are gonna go live with satan when we die and stuff like that. Many christians (in my opinion, but not all.. some are really nice) just don’t know how to live and let live., they want everybody to believe in the same “god” they do.

They need to stop pushing their religions down our throats, I think. And stop saying “Ill pray for you” .. honestly, whats soo wrong about us that we need to be prayed for? Just because we don’t share the same beliefs we need to be prayed for so we can change? Sorry, I dont want to change.
