If someone did something to my computer question?

Is there anything I can do if some person blocks everything on my computer with a admin code they put on purpose?

Anything legal??? Like court stuff cause there withholding my information on my computer which I cant get to cause they wanted to make my life a living helll

So is there anything I can do to make them give me there code to my computer?

Yeh, In Australia I think that would come under withholding property. Anything you’ve created on that computer is you’re intellectual property. I’d need to know more about the circumstances to know if theirs anything you could do to make them give you the code.

If this code is a BIOS code (eg it asks for the code before windows starts up) Then this can be removed by UNPLUGGING the computer and opening it up, then find the little silver battery on the motherboard. This is the computers clock battery, (like a watch battery) pull out the battery, give it a few seconds, then put it back in. This should do 2 things, 1- reset the BIOS system password, and 2- reset you’re system clock, which you can just set again.

again, make sure you switch off and unplug the computer before you open it up and stick you’re hand in there.

I would think you have a case for a lawsuit, since they intentionally caused harm to your property without your permission. What they did is a form of hacking, which is a criminal offense in most counries.

In the future, make sure your computer is password protected, and only you know the password. Then log out when you’re not using it.
