Can someone send something through email to trace my home address?

Is is possible for someone to send something through email that can track your movements on the web and possibly find out your address? I had a lady email me who quickly turned stalker and quoted my address to me but I have no idea how she did it. I scanned my computer the other day and found spyware, adware, trojans and viruses so could it be one of those?

Did she belong to a business or something? Do other people live in your house? Because I know some businesses will have your e-mail and address on record because other businesses sell this information.
