I don't understand the U.S. anymore.

Why do people keep asking and talking about if Obama is going to get either assassinated or shot? I mean seriously, ever since the 9/11 attacks there’s been EXTREMELY high security in airports, government buildings, and well known politicians. I can assure you he’s not going to get shot, if he does then you can prove me otherwise. I’m sick of people saying racist black jokes and saying that all the black people voted Obama b/c he’s black. That’s racist, and a Very well majority of the white people voted McCain b/c he’s white, that’s hypocritical. People saying starting off sentences saying “I’m not racist but” are usually ending up saying a racist comment. They’re saying black people have short fuses and BASICALLY saying white people are the greatest? Well why else would you think some of em have short fuses? A lot of white people behind their backs say racist black jokes. I can assure you a lot of them know you do so therefore they have short fuses. You can’t categorize people by skin color, religion, or political party, that’s unAMERICAN. What happened to equality for all? One Nation under GOD?

I’m sure a good majority of you are going to dislike me for posting this but honestly, I really don’t care. Go ahead, post things saying how stupid I am and such. But one last thing.

All of those white people that I mentioned saying racist black jokes and how they want Obama dead. A lot of them are christian and one of those godly religious people.

Well after saying racist jokes and wanting him dead, Yeah I’m sure Jesus and God love you now…

That’s all! Good day :D

Good Point - We need to ensure our Leaders are selected by the ‘Content of their Character’ and not by the ‘Color of their Skin’.

Answer #2

he mite get shot because of the color of his skin… thats the type of society we have

Answer #3

JFK was shot, Lincoln was shot…basically any president is in danger of being killed in office. Let alone someone who makes history, like him or not

:You can’t categorize people by skin color, religion, or political party, that’s unAMERICAN”

True. But not everyone agrees with you, there are still a couple of violent rednecks out there, even if the vast majority of whites are not

“Good Point - We need to ensure our Leaders are selected by the ‘Content of their Character’ and not by the ‘Color of their Skin’.”

its a sad part of american history. influential african american are often targeted by confederates or socalled rednecks in todays world. BTW there was a group of men who planned on assassinating obama when he was elected but they were caught, but they werent rednecks they were white supremiscists or neo nazis. basically the kind of people who supported hitlers superior race plan.

Answer #6

As open as our President’s are, there is no way to absolutely guarantee that the President cannot be killed or wounded by someone who is willing to die or be caught for the act.

I did not vote for Obama, but I certainly would not want anything to happen to him. He is our President. However, I do agree with leevan, because of his skin color, there are wackos in our country who would do him harm. I pray that does not occur.

As to all the racist jokes you refer to. Racism still exists in the U.S and the world., by whites, blacks, Asians and South Americans. It certainly isn’t limited to whites only. We are far better now than we have been in our history. And we continue to make progress. Don’t be down on everyone just because of a few idiots.
