How to push a guy away so that he comes crawling back?

I have been involved with a guy for over a year and since 10 months its been on and off, now we are not together but we still act as if we are and im getting a bit stressed about it. His mum died 5 months ago and its not having a great time and he has said that he doesnt want a relationship because it just puts pressure on and he gets jealous easily. And then the other day he said to me that he wanted to be just friends and no acting as if we are together, but then that lasted for two days and we ended up sleeping together and we have gone back to acting as if we are in a relationship. I want to push him away so that he comes crawling back but I dont really know how? Also im scared that if I push him away he wont come back. Help?

If you dont want to loose him, try not texting him or calling, it will make him miss you even more and then text him making up an excuse why you couldnt reply he will see what his missing, my ex boyfriend/ boyfriend does it to me all the time lol it works but dont keep doing it, it becomes upsetting :D xx
