How to keep hunger on a leash even after disrupting eating cycles?

I’m going to try and fully explain myself this time so people don’t think I had worms. I am, and always have been an extremely “big eater”. I would eat 2 large meals, 2 medium meals and a few snacks a day. I’ve been like this as far back as I can remember. As a child I could down literally 10 plates stacked with food at a buffet, desert, then a snack when returning home. The past few years I learned how to “leash” my hunger through certain eating patterns. I eat about 2 medium large sized portioned meals and snack 1-2 times every couple of hours. However, any disruption in my eating pattern and I’m fighting to get it back on a leash again. Recently I returned from a friends house a couple weeks ago. Their eating habits are extremely different from mine. They only eat once, maybe twice a day. Needless to say the last week I was there I felt as though I was starving. I returned home, and my body was like “FOOD!!!”. I really couldn’t get enough. My stomach burned constantly, I had light headaches and fatigue. I ate a little bit more than I usually did. I tried not to gorge myself for the mere fact I didn’t want to eat everyone out of the house, so I tried sticking with my normal eating pattern, which for the time being wasn’t cutting it. It wasn’t until my family and I went to a buffet in which I finally slaked my hunger completely and I was back on my normal eating cycle. Yes, 2 medium large meals and snacking all day is normal for me. I don’t have worms, if this was the case I’ld be dead over a decade ago.I actually use to be so skinny you could count almost every bone in my body as a child. I never had worms, it’s just how my body was. I never starved myself. Again, I’ve always been a heavy eater. Heck, I ate more then when I looked anorexic then I do now, which is still a lot. I’m almost 6ft, ADHD(which does effect my metabolism’s digestive rate), have an extremely fast metabolism, and I’m extremely active. My eating habits are normal for someone like me. I actually have a friend(he’s like a male version of me) who has similar eating habits, a heck of a lot skinner(you can count every bone in his spine, however, he doesn’t have worms, he’s been like that his whole life), and can down more food than me. Yes, this is normal, though maybe not common, it isn’t rare. As I stated, I have my hunger on a leash. However, when my eating cycle is disrupted, as I stated(and it was disrupted pretty bad for about 2 and a half weeks straight), I’m struggling to get it back under control. I’ve plans to stay over at this friend’s for about 3 months to get my life on track(I’ll be closer to the band, higher chance to get a job, better location to get my own place, etc, etc). I’m curious to know if anyone might have any ideas in which I can prevent from having to struggle to leash my hunger again after returning. Maybe eat at a buffet 1ce a week? However, I only have $440, and I really don’t want to spend much until I get a job incase of emergency.
